Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept insurance?

We are a cash-based practice, which means we do not bill insurance directly. We accept HSA and FSA payments and can provide a superbill you may submit to your insurance carrier for potential out-of-network reimbursement. This model allows us to provide full one-on-one sessions focused entirely on your goals.

Will I have to stop running or playing golf while I'm in PT?

Not necessarily. Our goal is to keep you as active as possible throughout the process. We'll evaluate what you're currently doing and help you modify loads or intensity where needed, but staying active is typically part of the plan — not the exception.

How is this different from physical therapy I've tried before?

Every session is one-on-one with a fellowship-trained physical therapist. You won't be handed off to an aide or working through a generic exercise list. We perform a thorough movement analysis tied to your specific activity — whether that's your running stride, golf swing, or strength training — and build a focused plan around what we find.

How many visits will I need?

There's no standard answer, and we won't guess. After your initial evaluation, we'll give you a clear picture of what we found and propose a plan with realistic goals. The frequency and duration of care is built around your situation and what you're working toward.

What does a first visit at Elite Function PT actually look like?

Your first visit starts with a detailed history — we want to understand what you're dealing with, how long it has been going on, and what activities or goals matter most to you. From there, we do a thorough movement analysis tied to your specific situation, whether that's your running stride, golf swing, lifting mechanics, or daily movement. You'll leave with a clear explanation of what we found and a proposed plan built around your goals.
